The following document summarises the measures taken in response to the virus by public libraries in 20 NAPLE member countries, with specific focus on the extent of closures across Europe. Most public libraries around Europe are closed to the public until further notice. Also the return boxes are closed and people are asked to keep borrowed books at home. In some countries, a system is already in place for the quarantining of returned physical materials, and in others the plan is to implement this as part of a phased reintroduction of services
